The Two Greatest People Ever!!!

Hey! If you couldn't tell from my post title I REALLY love these two people! This is Jenna and Zac, they were both in A Christmas Carol. Jenna and Zac are the two nicest people I have ever met and I hope we stay friends forever. They were always an encouragement during the play and after the play we were all very sad to part. Thankfully they came over last Friday,(I will post pics soon!), and we had a wonderful time! I can't wait to see them again! By the way, I realize this is not such a good pic of me, but I had my hair dyed gray and slicked back so I looked like an old man, I apologize!

Daniel Boone Cave Park Fun!!!

Hey Everyone!! I know this is a little late, but here is a post about our youth trip to Daniel Boone Cave Park. O, did i mention it was like 20 degrees at 9:00 in the morning???? Oh, well a little cold never hurt anyone. Here's a picture of me and Chelsea in the car on the way there. We saw a cave that Daniel Boone had lived in when he was passing through. Here's me(below) on the freezing cold rocks while the guys got all filthy climbing around. Below me is our friend/brother Justin posing in the cold. Well we had fun anyway and can't wait to hang out again!

The Ghosts of Christmas Past,Present,and Future

As most of you know, we are in A Christmas Carol, but better than the acting is the friends you meet. Please note that I did not post ALL of friends on this post, but you will get your turn! I will start with three girls in my dressing room who play the ghosts that Scrooge encounters.The first is Jenna(pictured left) who plays the ghost of the past, she is such a joy to get to know and is the sweetest girl you could meet. Next is Abby(pictured below) who plays the ghost of the present. Abby is always good for a laugh, she keeps us smiling and happy all through the show. Last but certainly not least is Hannah(pictured right of Abby) who plays the ghost of the future. Hannah is a wonderful and kind girl who is always willing to help and is a splendid dancer. These three girls are very special to me and I hope you come to see the show. I guarantee you will love them just as much as I do.

Superchick : Rock What You Got

For my first music review, I will do one of my favorites: Superchick. This particular album is called Rock What You Got. It's general message is individuality with a wonderful rock twist. Songs such as "Alive" and "Hey Hey" stress non-conformity and and rocking to your own beat, whatever it may be. Songs "Crawl" and "Breathe" speak of God's help in difficult times in their lives. The song "So Beautiful" is a strong supporter of individual beauty, despite the messages the world throws at you. The other songs are just as good as the rest and there is one song that is just five minutes of a seriously awesome guitar solo. To wrap up this album is a must buy for girls and guys of all ages, if you don't mind some hard rock beats. The only negative thing I think of is parents may not want their young ones singing of headless zombies and reference to a pain medication in "Alive", but it is completely harmless and in no way supports taking drugs.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go get it! I hope you like it as much as I do .

I Love Music!

Hey y'all! I have decided that since Chelsea is reviewing movies from time to time, I will start reviewing some Cd's. Music is pretty much my favorite thing in my life. There are so many kinds to listen to and I have listened to a variety of them. I have decided which ones relax me and which ones make me want to puke:). I will review Cd's that I have owned or heard over the years, so there won't be any screamo or dirty music, and especially not country!(big sigh of relief) Stayed tuned for some of my awesome music reviews!

Don't Ya Just Miss 'Em

I miss them, don't you? Now I know my posts are usually pretty random and witty, but I'd like to be all mushy for a moment. My dad and sister are in Honduras on a mission trip. My dad is helping with construction(despite his many ailments), and Chelsea is working with kids. Dad , no matter what his problems, is a hard worker and a wonderful encourager. Chelsea is just a wonderful person who has a soft spot for kids in need. She is doing a backyard bible club and is giving little kids a chance to hear about Jesus love for them. I am selfish in wanting them back, but hey, I'm only human. I know you're bawling right now, but dry your tears, they shall be back soon!

Pirate Faces At Teach's Hole

What a cheery lassie! Here's Chelsea at a place on Ocracoke called Teach's Hole, the pirate store. We just couldn't resist this pirate cut out of Blackbeard. While Chelsea's is nice I do believe Dad's is the best photo. What do you think?

Kitty Suavo

The latest of feline fashions is scarves. This oh so fashionable kitty is Kyle, the model for Fashionable Felines magazine. The new look is hand woven scarves that are tucked in the collar and made to hang out in front of you. They also work as make-shift napkins,so if you wanna be cool go buy your pet a scarf now, you wouldn't them to be unfashionable now would you?

The Candy Man Can!

Ahhh! Memories of Willy Wonka. The Candy man can cause he mixes it with love and makes our church taste good... This wonderful man is Jimmy Childress, sometimes before Sunday School he makes his rounds and delivers suckers to whoever wants one. It defintely brightens up my day! Also notice his spiffy outfit, what a lovely suit! Thanks Jimmy! We love you!

For those of you who don't know, I am a die hard Jonas Brothers fan. In fact, I hope to marry Joe Jonas one day( hey,it could happen!). Thus, I am proud to present this video of my little sister Emily doing a dance to one of my favorite JB songs, "Burnin' Up". My Friend Melvin

It's great to be home! I missed you all so much! We had a wonderful time at MFUGE and on Fripp. Chelsea and I made some new friends and hung out with old ones, but none compare to my new BFF Melvin! Yes, I know he's an alligator, but he is so darn cute! He lived right by our beach house, and we saw him every morning. Even though it was against the rules, we fed Melvin and strengthened our bond with him. After we fed him, every time we drove by he looked right at us. Melvin, if you're reading this, I miss you!

Happy Trails To Me

Hello Everyone!

I haven't posted in a while, and I won't be able to for a week! I know, you're all crying right now. Don't worry! I am going to MFUGE camp with my youth group and dad for a full week. After that I am going to camp with my family and the Bowers. My dad should bring his laptop so I will try to post then. Farewell until then! Look I'm already crying!

We were at a museum in Raleigh and I discovered a new passion for the killing of birds for my wall hangings. I'm just kidding! I was forced, oh my bad, I was "persuaded" to wear this very slimming outfit. Enjoy this while you can, it won't happen often!

The moment you've been waiting for!

As you can see this diabolical duo are computer hackers!! This is a surveillance photo I took on my stakeout. He is trying to hack into the Microsoft data base and steal the information needed to take over the world!! Fortunately, he couldn't get past their firewall! Kyle and Socko Joe are now working in a community service program as the punishment for their crimes. Case closed!

The Preacher's New Look

This is no ordinary preacher. The blue hair is because he is so dedicated to missions, he vowed he would dye it if the kids raised $900. Well, they did. Not only is it blue, it is also sparkly. The glitter still is to be found on his pillow, his bathroom and his clothes. Great job kids! We never imagined he would look so good in Kentucky blue. Enjoy it Papaw Joe, while you can.

All challengers beware! Here comes the new champion of Mario Kart.....Kyle the Speed Demon! This connoisseur of kart is the best there is, look how he only needs ONE paw to drive! He calls forth all challengers to the parsonage for a showdown. Bring your 'A' game, says the champ. Loser eats dog food for a week!
