Quite a Hard Week

Hello my ever faithful blog disciples! I am a horrendous blogger and have completely forgotten I had one! But I shall try to be more diligent with my blogging :) This past week has been quite a trying one for us North Carolinians. We have had a total of seven teenage deaths all brutal and shocking to hear :( The youngest being a 12 year old girl killed by an oncoming car. These deaths have taken a toll on our youth group, as many of our members were friends with these people. As we have stumbled depressingly through this week we have begun to even more lean upon one another for support and comfort. It is amazing in that what seems to be a awful situation can bring about stunning results. Yesterday while studying the Psalms I came upon these verses : "For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. He is only my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken." (Psalms 62:1-2) These verses were just what the doctor ordered. I was greatly heartened and was given a new perspective. With God as my Savior why should I fear anything? Death especially. Christ died for us and death is dead! Although it is still a very real thing, death no longer has any sting! Praise the Lord above for his great sacrifice!

New Hair Cut!!!

Hey my faithful blogging friends! It has been insanely too long since I have posted! So here's the scoop on my life of late: I am completely ready for Christmas except for the fact that i still have to make my best friend his gift (he doesn't blog so he wont see this lol), i am very sick of school, i am dying for Suessical to be here, and i got a fantastic new hair cut!!!! :) Here's a pic:

Show Time!!!!

Hey all!!

Well its that time again! That's right its time for another play!!!! Yay!! haha This time around we are doing Cinderella! This cast is amazing and the show will be fantastic!! Performances will be held at the Smith Civic Center in downtown Lexington, NC (217 South Main St).
Tickets only $8.00 plus one can of food pre-sale or $10.00 and one can of food at the door.

O yea, I have a blog!

Yea that's exactly what i was thinking just a few moments ago! I realized I haven't posted in over a month!!! That's just ridiculous! Anyway, I have been insanely busy! I went to Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters with my youth group(pictured here), and SWTA at Richfork. Both were so much fun and a great opportunity to learn about Jesus and spend time with friends! Well it's about time for church so I'd better go! I will try to remember to post more often!! Love to all! :)

VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody!!! Sorry I haven't posted lately, but I have been swamped with school and such! Tomorrow at 5:15 am(no,that's no a typo:) we are leaving for Florida for a week!! So I should probably get to bed soon haha! Peace out y'all!!:)

Backstage Buddies!

These are my wonderful friends from LYT! Disclaimer:these are not all my friends I just didn't get many photos:) First we have the amazing Caleb!!!! He is the sweetest and smiliest friend I have ever had! Hes always there to lend a hand and a hug:) Next, Louisa! Louisa is an amazing friend who loves to poke fun! We had many wonderful laughs together! Last and certainly not least my Jenna! Jenna is the most wonderful girl I have ever met! She has been my friend since the beginning and has been there for me through thick and thin! I'm running out of room but I promise I'll post more pics of my friends later!

Hey guys! If you didn't now me and Chelsea are in LYT's High School Musical 2, and we really need you guys to come to the show! If you want to come tickets are $8 plus a can of food for a local charity. We REALLY need to sell these so we can keep doing shows! The dates are March 26Th -29Th , 2009:
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm;

Princess or Devil? You Decide

In case you didn't know a couple months ago a stray kitten came to the church parking lot, and she had a broken leg. Kyle was trying to chase her off, and we didn't want her to get hurt so we adopted her! Isn't she adorable? Well don't be fooled because underneath that cute face is a mind of EVIL!

When let in the house she will torment Kyle to no end, play with my mother's curtains, and bite when she is being petted(she thinks your playing). She is also very agile and fast as you can see in this below pic she had jumped onto my tall dresser from my bed( an amazing feat!) Hopefully she will grow to be comfortable with us soon. So Princess or Devil? Only you can decide!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEA!!!!!!!!

Hey all! As you can gather from the title it was Chelsea's birthday!!!! This wonderful sister of mine turned 17 on Jan 28th. I had the wonderful opportunity to tell everyone around me that this was so and had them sing to her(quite embarrassing on her part:). Chelsea had a few friends over on Friday for a little party and we had a wonderful time.

Well, it's that time again, yep that's right, it's time for LYT auditions!!!!!!! This time we are doing HSM 2 and I cannot wait! Auditions are on Monday at the DCCC and I am sooooo nervous! I would like to get the part of Kelsey, but I'll take what I can get. It's gonna be a great show!

Guitar Hero:World Tour!!!

Hey all! I know I haven't posted in a LONG time I figured I would post about my favorite present: Guitar Hero: World Tour!!!!!!! This game is AWESOME and is soo much fun. We got the entire set, it comes with a guitar, drums and a microphone. Above me and Bailey were rocking out to Linkin Park and we were having a great time! Anyone who feels up to a challenge come by and face me!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

The Two Greatest People Ever!!!

Hey! If you couldn't tell from my post title I REALLY love these two people! This is Jenna and Zac, they were both in A Christmas Carol. Jenna and Zac are the two nicest people I have ever met and I hope we stay friends forever. They were always an encouragement during the play and after the play we were all very sad to part. Thankfully they came over last Friday,(I will post pics soon!), and we had a wonderful time! I can't wait to see them again! By the way, I realize this is not such a good pic of me, but I had my hair dyed gray and slicked back so I looked like an old man, I apologize!

Daniel Boone Cave Park Fun!!!

Hey Everyone!! I know this is a little late, but here is a post about our youth trip to Daniel Boone Cave Park. O, did i mention it was like 20 degrees at 9:00 in the morning???? Oh, well a little cold never hurt anyone. Here's a picture of me and Chelsea in the car on the way there. We saw a cave that Daniel Boone had lived in when he was passing through. Here's me(below) on the freezing cold rocks while the guys got all filthy climbing around. Below me is our friend/brother Justin posing in the cold. Well we had fun anyway and can't wait to hang out again!

The Ghosts of Christmas Past,Present,and Future

As most of you know, we are in A Christmas Carol, but better than the acting is the friends you meet. Please note that I did not post ALL of friends on this post, but you will get your turn! I will start with three girls in my dressing room who play the ghosts that Scrooge encounters.The first is Jenna(pictured left) who plays the ghost of the past, she is such a joy to get to know and is the sweetest girl you could meet. Next is Abby(pictured below) who plays the ghost of the present. Abby is always good for a laugh, she keeps us smiling and happy all through the show. Last but certainly not least is Hannah(pictured right of Abby) who plays the ghost of the future. Hannah is a wonderful and kind girl who is always willing to help and is a splendid dancer. These three girls are very special to me and I hope you come to see the show. I guarantee you will love them just as much as I do.
